I received a link to this site via email earlier today with a brief description about a design content Champion Athletics was holding. I went to check out the site expecting to see a relatively standard site soliciting designs for Hoodies.
Yeah, not so much.
This isn’t a design contest exactly; there’s no options to create and use your own artwork. Instead, you’re literally remixing existing Champion fabrics with an unlimited palette of colors to create your own unique combination. The site is flash based and includes a neat interface for remixing your Hoodie. Choose different colors/fabrics for each panel of the garment (some of the submissions go just a little overboard with that freedom) and then register to save your creation and enter the contest.
The contest ends March 31st and the winner is chosen based on a variety of factors (primarily community vote) so if you’re really in it to win, make sure you use their tools to pimp your design. Hard.
Even without the carrot of having your design printed by Champion, the interface is just fun.

Unfortunately, you can’t actually buy your own creation right now (ala Nike) but their FAQ mentions the fact that they’re at least (maybe) considering it.
