@Twitter Timeout

by Stephen on May 29, 2009

I’m not an avid user of Twitter because I don’t really need to know what everyone is doing at every moment, but what I’ve read on the interwebs and on the tv’s, some people take tweeting a bit too far,

I just took a breath of air and it was great. I think I’ll take another *tweet* *tweet*

The guys at Nobody Likes Onions have a solution, the Twitter Timeout shirt.

Wear this shirt and let the world know that you hope the offender(s) would lose a connection for a few hours. Maybe they’ll take a walk outside for a while, eat a piroggi, see a show, do stuff, whatever. As long as you don’t hear about it for a while, there is still chance to save this e-friendship.

From the NLO site:

When you take a shower, or eat a cheese sandwich, or wonder if the store is open this late, those are personal moments. We don’t need to hear about it. Some people use Twitter too often. Some people use it to say things that no one else cares about. Sure, I could unfollow you. But that wouldn’t help you learn to control your problem.
