To be perfectly honest, I don’t quite remember how I first came across “invite-only” Jackthreads, but after being a member for a few weeks, I figured it was about time I did a post on them.
The concept is somewhere between woot and an overstock store: surf, skate, and street brands with over-runs or extra stock are sold through the site for a limited time (usually a day, unless they sell out faster) at deeply discounted prices.
Above is a recent sampling of what’s been up for sale – they have everything from clothing and outwear to accessories and shoes.
Still in beta, according to the site, I’m not sure if it’s truly “invite-only” because it seems you can register from the home page of the site. Once you’re registered, you can also earn extra cash to spend on the site by referring your friends and having them sign-up and purchase.
