Check Out the Most Expensive Sneakers

Do you wear sneakers for style or comfort? Do you prefer sports shoes or high-fashion shoes? Many factors call for shoes to be priced in the thousands.

From shoe brand and rapper collaborations to shoes even worn by Michael Jordan, these super expensive kicks will blow your mind!

Michael Jordan’s Game Worn Converse Fastbreak — $190,373

It’s no surprise a pair of used Converse worn by Michael Jordan himself is worth almost $200k. They’re the most expensive game-worn shoes.

But these Converse represent more than a pair of shoes worn by a basketball legend. But wait — Converse? What about Nike and Jordan’s own line of shoes?

Jordan wore these shoes in 1984. At the time, he was only a rookie. But his expert playing helped team USA win the gold medal at the Olympics in Los Angeles.

The shoes itself are nothing special. They’re old and worn out. But they do feature Jordan’s signature.

Nike Mag 2016 Auto-Lacing — $26,000

Artificial intelligence is coming to shoes. In 2016, Nike raised ahead of the competition by releasing auto-lacing sneakers. But they come with a pretty penny, over $25k.

That’s not all. The shoes also have lights and are even motor-driven. All of these options are made possible with a battery.

Nike only made 100 of these shoes. Today, they’re even more difficult to come by and are extremely sought after.

VLONE x Nike Air Force 1 High — $8,000

Nike was going to collaborate with clothing label VLONE. However, VLONE’s owner and ASAP Mob co-founder ASAP Bari was charged with sexual assault. So Nike didn’t get their hands dirty, they ended the collaboration.

However, a couple of shoes came out of that collaboration, specifically Air Force 1. VLONE’s spin on the classic Air Force features a black shoe with the classic swoosh in red and yellow trim and text.

These shoes were originally sold at $1,500. However, with the collaboration ending, that number increased to $8k. It also doesn’t help the fact that only 20 pairs were made.

DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 3 “Grateful” — $25,000

We da best! That’s not only what DJ Khaled says but is also what Air Jordan is saying.

They’re the shoe brand that has had some of the highest shoe prices. So it’s no surprise that their collaboration with DJ Khaled sets shoe connoisseurs back $25k.

Buscemi 100mm Diamond — $132,000

What’s the easiest way to take an expensive sneaker and make it even more expensive? Add diamonds. Buscemi’s 100mm alone clocks in at close to $300.

Expensive, but not terrible. But after you add diamonds, that price goes up to over $130k.

This shoe features 11.5-carat diamonds and even 18-karat gold. This is the perfect shoe is you (literally) prefer your sneakers dripping in gold and diamonds.

Air Jordan 11 “Jeter” — $40,000

Air Jordan doesn’t always celebrate other athletes. But when they do, they go all out. And seriously jack up the price. That’s how Air Jordan awarded the classic Yankees player.

His Air Jordan is decked in Yankees colors, blue and white and made of suede.

Since this shoe was made to commemorate the famous baseball player’s 2017 retirement, only a few pairs were made.

And by “few” we mean only five. This is why they’re priced at $40k. Rumor has it three out of the five pairs are offered at consignment shops in the U.S.

Pharrell Williams x adidas Hu NMD Friends and Family — $10,000

Do sneakers make you happy?

They obviously make Pharrell Williams happy and adidas was stoked to raise the price on these sneaks. Since it’s Pharrell, these shoes don’t compromise style. The shoed feature purple mesh with a white sole and black detailing.

The sad part, the purple shoes are worth between $10k and $12k. But if you want the pink ones, you’ll have to fork over $15k.

Don’t worry, you can still find awesome adidas for cheap. Find out more here.

Adidas NMD_RI Friends and Family — $10,000

Adidas is again mentioned on our list. This is another famous shoe in the NMD line. This shoe features knitted black and gray with a white sole.

Rick Owens Geobasket Iguana — $3,000

These are some of the cheapest on our list but is still extremely pricey. The prestigious designers are finally getting in on the sneaker game. Rick Owens is one of them.

His Geobasket sneakers feature brown iguana skin, giving these sneakers an individualistic look. The iguana skin is surrounded by white detailing, including a white sole.

This shoe has a more chic edge than the other featured on this list. They’re high-tops but are more bulbous rather than sporty, similar to workman boots.

Macklemore x Air Jordan 6 — $25,000

These aren’t thrift shop prices. This isn’t the only expensive rapper collaboration from Air Jordan. But Macklemore thinks his shoe reigns over other rappers by pricing them at $25k. These Air Jordans feature an odd mint green color.
